Abstract: This work deals with the notion of person among Mayas, based on the fundamental elements of person, no-person, and the usefulness of this
notion to answer the question: who am I? First, a notion of person was developed. Then, it was contrasted with the informants who contributed
to create it, and with other informants. The final Maya notion that is put forward here corresponds to the notion they usually used, and the value
judgments which lead them.
