Abstract: This article deals with the importance of professional ethics in psychology training, with special emphasis in ethical conditions of pre-professional practices carried out as part of such program. Everydevelopment and application of knowledge entail a valuative position which is constructed throughout severaleducational stages, including universitylevel. At the same time, the need toframe ethically the pre-professional practices in undergraduate psychology programs, since they involve the well-being of
individuals and communitiesis highlighted. Finally, this work presents a tool specifically developed to promote ethical reflection during pre-professional practices called Guide of EthicalCommitment to pre-professional practices in
psychology. This instrumentis based on the Universal Declaration of Ethical
Principles for Psychologists, and it intends to overcome the inadequate application of professional ethical codesin the regulation of such practices.
